1)  How did Raul Penaranda get started?
Raul:  Raul Penaranda was always a goal of mine since I was a kid, therefor everything I learned in my ten years of experience in fashion was towards making my dream a reality. after working for Oscar de la Renta, DKNY, Liz Claiborne and other fashion houses I decided to launch a preview of my collection in NY fashion week.

Raul first collection will be shown at NY fashion week in September.
Raul Penaranda is a ready to wear collection that is fresh, trend savvy, elegant, edgy and stylish.
Inspired by the energy, glamour and eclectic lifestyle of New York City, this collection will bring elements from the past in conjunction with modern silhouettes and vibrant colors. “Exclusivity” and “Refinement” are key words that best describe this brand. The fabrics are lavish, rich and ethereal; manifesting a sensation of being new, unique and fresh.

2) What sort of fashion are you interested in?
Raul:  What I called the new modern and savvy fashion, designing pieces based on the costumer needs and how she lives her fast life now at days.Raul Penaranda Collection” will bring the customer what they want; fashion pieces combined with basics that understand her “FASHION NEEDS” and her “BUDGET”. 

3) Which fashion magazines do you read? Which is your favorite?
Raul: American Vogue, Harper bazaar, Lucky, W, Nylon. don't have a favorite, just get the best that each one can offer...

4)  If you had a choice of all designers in the world, who would you prefer to work for?Why?
Raul: Alexander McQueen; for his free spirit design and endless creativity

5) What are your "hopes and aspirations" for yourself in the fashion industry?
Raul: To become a world class fashion house. "nothing is impossible and miracles take a little bit longer.....Dream, Vision and Reality.

Stella Bonds: Fashion designer's Interview:
1) Being fashion designer was your childhood dream?
Stella:
I became a fashion designer by surprise.  I made a shirt for a guy on his birthday and he liked it very much. His appreciation encouraged me now my goal was to make such outfits and sell them. 

2) Do you think there is cut throat competition in fashion industry today?

StellaYes. I dont see how movie starts and come out with a line when they are not designers at all.  They have the money to hire our designs for their line.  I think  this insult of creative designers like me.  Designers have to move in the big elite in order to create their identity.And due to all this I can say there is cut throat competition in fashion industry today. 

3) What makes your design different from others?
Stella: I sew one piece of all designs.  Dresses designed by me are very different and unique.

4) Who are your target markets?
Stella: In today's generation youngsters are much aware of fashion  and style so I target young professional men and women.

5) How do you market your products?
Stella: Big world seems to be small town due to internet so I prefer selling of my product through my website, I think this is best medium to explore our design in whole world.
